This morning we will be travelling
from Bilbao where we'll be attending the opening
ceremonies of San Fermin "Running of the
Bulls" Festival. You'll be wearing your
shabbiest white and red clothes, as there's
a great deal of flour, eggs and champagne that
will be thrown around. That afternoon after
a siesta in our hotel the (the three kings), we'll be taking
a short tour of the city before having our welcome
dinner. Welcome to the most exciting fiesta
in Spain!

Waking up early we'll be enjoying
the view of the running of the bulls on a section
of the course. Following the run, we'll be returning
to the hotel, before we take a journey to the
Camino de Santiago where we'll be walking a
part of the legendary pilgrimage route. That
afternoon, like all afternoons in Spain, it's
siesta time before our fist bullfight. We will
be watching the "fight" from an elevated
position in the stadium as the bullfight WILL
be overwhelming. This is the most controversial
part of the festival. Make no mistake about
it, the bull will be killed! Many bullfights
have adopted a strategy of not killing the bull,
but not so in Pamplona. The bull will be slain
and then sent to the butcher for eating. The
fight will elicit a great deal of emotion (embraced
by the crowd). We'll prepare you for the emotion
when you arrive.

This morning we'll be viewing
the running of the bulls from the stadium. The
stadium view holds an added attraction as "little"
bulls are released into the stadium after the
run to bowl over the crowd. An exciting time
for sure. That day we'll be going for a walk
in and around the Navarra forest. After a siesta,
we'll be going to our second bullfight of the
festivities. This time you'll be prepared.

Our final running of bulls
will be viewed again from the course. This is
your farewell to the Running of the bulls before
we transfer to San Sebastian's famous for a few days of much needed
relaxation. We'll be having a city tour prior
to a fabulous meal.

Today is all about relaxation.
Believe us that you'll need it after the craziness
of Pamplona. Relaxing beaches, relaxing restaurants,
relaxing everything! San Sebastian is the perfect
town for relaxation. Lunch will be held at a
restaurant with a breathtaking view of the city.
San Sebastian has everything to offer. Tonight
is a night on your own and your guides will
suggest a restaurant that matches your culinary
delights.

Today we're going on a quick
tour of France's Biarritz and St. Jean de Luz
taking in a walking tour of both. You'll fall
in love with both towns. A walking tour gives
you taste for why this is our favourite beach
region of France. Our final night dinner will
be one to remember.

All great things must come to an
end and we'll be dropping you off in Bilbao but not
before visiting the unique Guggenheim Museum. Afternoon
flights are suggested on this day.
