We recommend either:

1) Going to Portofino or Santa Margherita and Walking Cinque Terre

Rent a car or take a train and stay in either Santa Margherita or Portofino. If you rent a car, stop in the beautiful town of Lucca along the way. From either Santa Margherita or Portofino you can explore the famous picturesque towns of Cinque Terre.

Or

2) Relax a few days in Florence or Rome

If you didn't get the opportunity to visit Florence, now's an ideal time to visit. Alternatively, Rome is only a few hours by train and take a few days to explore Roma.
