the greatest outdoor show in the World! We'll
be attending the world famous Calgary Stampede
followed by an incredible heli-hiking trip in
the Canadian Rockies. Three days of excitement
followed by three days of relaxation and exercise.
What more could you want? Great food? Great
people? You got it!
Day 1
14 July 2006
Welcome to Calgary, Canada,
home of the world famous Calgary Stampede. On
arrival, we'll make you an honorary Canadian
by taking you shopping for the right cowboy
and cowgirl gear. After settling into our fabulous
hotel The
Fairmont Palliser, we'll be having our welcome
drinks and dinner in the flavour of a ho-down
tradition.
Day 2

July 2006
Our morning starts with a
great pancake breakfast followed by your introduction
to Calgary and the Stampede Fairgrounds. That
day we'll be watching the world famous rodeo.
Day 3
16 July 2006
We spend this day touring
the world class fairgrounds. There is everything
from the amazing dogs, the hypnotist, the home
show, the casino and everything else the Stampede
has to offer. That night we'll be attending
the world famous Chuckwagon Championships followed
by fantastic fireworks.
Day 4
17 July 2006
Equipped with Starbucks we'll
drive to the famous Rafter Six valley ranch
for a horseback ride and picnic. That afternoon
we'll be driving four hours to the secluded
Island
Lake Lodge near Fernie British Columbia
in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.
Day 5
18 July 2006
The contrast on this trip is incredible.
We go from the craziness of the Stampede to the serenity
of the Canadian Rockies. We'll learn about bears,
plants and good clean living. We'll be using this
opportunity to hike the mountains around the continental
divide.
Day 6
19 July 2006
Today we'll be Heli Hiking
in the alpine of the Canadian Rockies. This
day will undoubtedly be a highlight of your
trip. Experienced guides will be talking you
through the scenery and wildlife on an experience
you'll never forget.
Day 8
20 July 2006
All good things must come to an
end and we'll either drive you back to Calgary or
to Banff for a few more days of relaxation.
