.
That evening, over welcome drinks, you'll learn

In the morning we'll be exploring
the old city of Salvador's Pelourinho district
overlooking the Todos os Santos (All Saints)
Bay. Our local guide Gabriella will be walking
you through the rich history of the port. You'll
be amazed how little the old district has changed
and shocked at the treatment of slaves in the
early years of the city. After a lunch in an
old hacienda overlooking the bay, you'll be
given an opportunity to do some shopping in
the old district or relax at the hotel before
our first Carnival Parade in the evening! Are
you excited now? You should be. There's going
to be a lot of people walking and dancing to
the beat of the drums. Three quarters of the
way through the parade you'll have a chance
to relax at our Camorote (private viewing area)
where you can watch the parade mosey by.

Carnival experience. Dinner is on your own allowing
you to choose from an array of Salvador's fantastic
